Coast Guard Kindergarten was established on 15 July 1996 as Udayan KG School with a modest beginning of seven students and one teacher in a wooden shed, under the guidance of DIG D Banerjee, PTM, COMCG (A & N), and Mrs. Renuka Raj as the Headmistress.

Since its establishment, the school has experienced remarkable growth and currently enrolls 209 students with 12 teaching and 12 non-teaching staff members. This growth underscores the quality of education and extracurricular activities, contributing to the overall development of the student.
